Mitch Holsteins is owned and operated by Brent and Kim Mitchell. Situated in Bamawm just 15 minutes from Rochester or 20 minutes from Echuca, in prime Northern Victorian Irrigation country. The herd of 220, building to 250, is milked on a base of permanent pasture, lucerne and annual ryegrass pastures. The herd is currently approximately 30% registered holsteins. It was started off with Brent's good friend Andrew Freemantle as Mitchmantle Holsteins in 1999 and then when sufficient numbers Brent started Mitch Holsteins. The business was taken to another level when Brent married Kim and she brought her love of showing cattle to the business.

We really enjoy working with and breeding cattle and hope you enjoy this peek into our operation. We would really like to thank some people for their outstanding support. Our parents, Jeff & Carolyn Mitchell and Les & Faye Moon, Brent's grand parents Arn and Marg Niven without your help our dream would not be here.
